Best Computer Builders has officially announce the GSC (General System Coverage) Program to provide International Warranty Service for system PC products on the 1st of September, 1999. General System Coverage Program is designed to provide international buyers outside the country of purchase, with satisfactorily performed services of their Best Computer Builders systems within warranty.
The General System Coverage Program is available in countries where Best Computer Builders has Business sales representatives.
The GSC Program is invalid
in countries where Best Computer Builders does not have an authorized Global Service Member.

This document describes the general GSC service for Best Computer Builders systems, including Office Power, School Master, Internet Gateway, Gamer DDR Dream, Executive Power, and any future models manufactured by Security Network Solutions, Inc. (Best Computer Builders). This includes:

Best Computer Builders System Standard Warranty includes "Full Labor and Parts Warranty", "Limited Software Warranty", and "Limited International Warranty" which are individually described below.
"FULL LABOR AND PARTS WARRANTY" :
Best Computer Builders warrants its system products, including any accessories you have purchased from Best Computer Builders, against defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a fixed period of time according to the chart below in labor and parts. This part of the Warranty is voided if the defect is caused by external force or user misuse/abuse.
In case of any hardware failures, you are REQUIRED to return the system product's to the original place of purchase for services. If you are travel outside the country of purchase, you may return (ship-in or carry-in) the product's to an Best Computer Builders-GSC service center, at your shipping expense if incurred.
"LIMITED SOFTWARE WARRANTY" :
Preinstalled software is NOT part of the Best Computer Builders System Standard Warranty. Best Computer Builders only warrants that the preinstalled software is in normal working order under Microsoft® End User License Agreement (EULA). Best Computer Builders is only responsible for INSTALLATION, NOT CONFIGURATION, of the preinstalled software. In addition, Best Computer Builders is NOT responsible for any software you installed onto the system and any damages it incurs. For software issues, you should seek assistance from software vendors.
"LIMITED INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY" : When traveling out of the original country of purchase, in which servicing by the original vendor is not possible, you are granted the right to send the defected system product's to a member of Best Computer Builders GSC NETWORK nearest your current location. If you cannot carry in and pickup the complete system personally, you are responsible for all shipment expense incurred. Individual modules are not accepted.
This part of the Warranty is for international travelers only. DOA (Dead On Arrival) service is inapplicable with this Program. If you are within the country of purchase, this Limited International Warranty does not apply and you MUST return the product's to the original vendor.

General Step-by-Step GSC Service Procedure for GSC End Users
When you are traveling outside of your purchasing country and need service, please send your defective Best Computer Builders system in whole with your "sales receipt or invoice" to the local GSC at your own expense. You are responsible for backing up all important data stored in your HD before requesting for GSC service. Best Computer Builders and Best Computer Builders GSC will not be liable for any data loss during the service. Due to a vast number of language versions around the world, each GSC center may only offer O/S support (with customer's CD) and keyboard model (by local language) used in that particular country.
Upon receiving your defective product's, GSC is expected to finish the repair ASAP provided needed spare parts are available.
The warranty covers workmanship and defective materials of Best Computer Builders system for a fixed period of time according to the previous chart, under normal use upon purchase. Best Computer Builders will pay for the service charges incurred.
After your system is fixed, you are requested to fill in the ¡§GSC Service Report¡¨, which can be obtained from Best Computer Builders GSC, then return it to the Best Computer Builders GSC.
